Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is a popular Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu films and also in a few of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead character in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). In addition, she received an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy has the father of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her professional career started in the early 2000s as a child actor. She returned into the industry of film following her study of fashion. Her debut lead part in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. It was not a success at the box office. In the year 2015, she debuted A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against each other. But, both films didn't do very well at the theaters. Because of her hectic schedule in 2015, she had no choice but to pull out of films which she had already begun doing work, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She then worked in Rajini Murugan's Remo in two quick film. Additionally, Dhanush and she played as the main characters for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The release of the film was delayed in 2015 and now is expected to take place after September of 2020. It will have an alternative title, Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), which featured Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. Keerthy was first seen with Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay.
